I thought we’d start the Newsletter by introducing you to one of the newsletter authors. I will try to keep this mercifully short. Sort of. :)
My father was an ex-Navy, then Air Force Tech Sergeant with five children - career military, as are most of his children. (my brothers served - one on the U.S.S Cole) I accepted a presidential appointment to Annapolis, although my career actually ended up going in a different direction. In my family, we all understood and believed in the idea of “service.” But we were not overly familiar with the concept of being “rich” :-) Service has been a major motivator throughout my career.
I have spent 30 years engineering. I started working in the corporate and DOD contractor world (Exxon, AT&T, Lockheed, etc.) for several years. Till I got tired of the greed & BS. I did the NASA thing for several years at Kennedy Space Center till the Columbia disaster.
After Columbia, I became a solo entrepreneur. I wanted to create software for my own reasons and purposes. A service for real everyday people, not for numbers on a P&L balance sheet. For over two decades since, I have been creating software applications and digital products for everyday people. People I ride with (Cycling), that I barbecue with in the backyard or meet with at the grocery store.
My first eight years online I created software for my website freesoftwareforever - software that my members got for free. I was semi famous as the “free software wizard“. My site members got to use the software, and or sell it and they only paid less than $50 a year to be a member. I was trying to help everyday people back then to make money online with my software and digital products. It was a lot of fun!
I still am still doing the same sort of thing, just a different site. And it’s still a blast! Except now two of my sons are part of the team helping me. And I have a partner...
A few years ago, I met my friend Luis when I stumbled upon his amazing (and incredibly inexpensive) VisualNeo.com Web IDE for developing code and Apps incredibly fast! We discovered we had a similar perspective, and became friends. In 2022, we saw the huge potential of AI and software to help everyday people make money. We decided to partner and work together to create deadeasysoftware.com and create apps for everyday people that allow them to use unlimited AI and use simplified apps we create every month, all so they can make some money. We try to make it simpler and inexpensive - for them to get tasks done or to create their own products or to just use software and AI.
We agreed to follow the same cost approach I’ve always had, and it is stated on the main page of the site:
"Our Mission, is to make our site "too good to be true." Make it as inexpensive as we possibly can but worth 10-20 times what we charge, so as many everyday people as possible, can afford it, and easily profit from it."
I prefer - to the horror of my marketing friends! - to help 1,000 people for $5, than just 50 people for $100. So that is what we are doing. We have built a site that is both powerful, simple to use, and very inexpensive. And we’re having a lot of fun doing it. :-)

The information we will be giving you in this newsletter will be just part of all that! A fun part!
